Leaf Tree Photos

So, here are a few cute pictures I did not show you all before. They were put on the Mother's Day cards we sent out to the grandmothers.

Myrtle Beach Trip 2011

We went to Myrtle Beach for the last week of May. Here are a few pictures from our trip.

And the kids actually enjoying each others' company.

And we found live hermit crabs in the "ponds" on the beach near our condo.

Aren't we so cute and happy?

Dave even let me go out with the boys shark fishing.

Jared has gotten three molars in so far (I will have to update which ones later, when I have time to reference the chart.) He had his 15 month check-up and is at 20 lbs. and 30 inches. Julia turns three in a couple weeks and will have her check-up soon also. I'm half way through this pregnancy and there is still a cute baby in there. That's it for now.

Happy Spring!

Well, it has been a few months. Sorry to those who actually try to keep up-to-date with us via the blog. So, I will try to summarize, but also update about life...

Jared has 9 (or more) teeth now. Tooth Q came in around April 2nd and tooth N came in around April 16th. I also saw tooth B the other day when he was crying, but actually checking for other molars is like sticking your hand into a crocodiles mouth. He always seems to have bumps and/or bruises on his forehead (just like his sister did at this age). He loves his sister and tries to do everything she does. Jared has said hi, mama, and daddy, we think. He mumbles noises that sound like words, but we're not sure what they mean. His hands in the air and "uuhh, uuhh" very enthusiastically usually mean I want that, me too, pick me up, drink, and everything else.

Julia actually lets me put pony tails (usually pig tail style) in her hair now. She shares, by means of making sure Daddy, Mommy, Julia, and Jared all have a {insert cool object here, like lollipop}. This does not always mean that Jared may "share" and/or play with her "collection" or toy of choice at that moment. She says things like "lowly-pop" and "I not know" (even if she knows). She has full conversations with people (even on the phone). Everyone, particularly each of her cousins, is her friend.

Baby Reynolds 3 is due October 6th. Pregnancy is going fairly well again. Yay! I'm still working full time (but maybe, just maybe I can slowly work my way out of full time). And to sustain you for a while, I am adding some April pictures below. Easter egg dying at our house:

Quick - Jared Teething & Julia Potty Trained

So, this is a quick update to record information before my brain stops functioning. Jared currently has six teeth. His first tooth came in at the same time Julia's last tooth came in.

My Primary Teeth Chart is here.

His teeth order so far: P (Oct. 15), O (Oct. 17), D (Thanksgiving week-ish), G (Thanksgiving week-ish), E (Dec. 15-ish), and F (Dec. 16-ish). And I think more are coming soon! He should be walking soon. He can stand unassisted for quite a few seconds, maybe even a minute. He pushes Julia's toy stroller around all by himself and cruises on furniture.

Julia's last tooth was J and took almost two weeks to erupt the gums (from one little corner bit to the fourth corner of the flat part) starting around Oct. 15th. She is an awesome big sister and loves to do things herself. She is potty trained (with only a few accidents here and there at nap and bedtime) and wearing underwear (since the week of Thanksgiving).

And... I finally sent out Christmas cards today (and a few baby announcements with them). Hopefully I can do a few "Year in Review" updates before 2011 starts, even if only in picture form. Sending warm thoughts out.

Fifth Anniversary

What does he do when "I can't" find my voice to speak?

He makes me laugh.

Here's to the first five years together. May the next fifty be just as blessed (hopefully slightly less hectic and stressful too, but not likely)!

Julia has nineteen teeth, talks up a storm, and is trying to potty train. Jared is rolling over, sitting up, and trying to "rock" when he's on all fours. He's a talker too and has started eating baby foods. Both are happy and healthy.

We try to focus on all the blessings in life these days. Enjoy what you have and who you have to share it with while you can!

Driving to Aunt Vicki's

Park fun with Julia... who wishes she could drive to the beach.

Julia is 26 months and Jared is 6 months

And here are the two cuties:

Julia's hair is actually long enough to get trimmed. It is in her eyes all the time. We never actually "do" her hair, so these pretty barrettes barely lasted long enough for me to get a few pictures.

And Jared is sitting up like a champ. He was first able to sit up by himself the last week of July. He has also been rolling around like crazy for a little while now. I'll try to pin-point a few dates for record sake.

And another one of the happy siblings. Julia just makes Jared laugh hysterically. And Julia just loves her little brother, so long as he is not trying to touch anything she does not want him to have.

Hopefully I'm back for a little bit of blogging from time to time (weekly is my goal).

Random Good Stuff

Julia turned two (years old) last Saturday and Jared turned four months on Tuesday. Tuesday they both went to the doctors. Jared was 14 pounds 4 ounces and Julia was 24 pounds (again). Jared was 24-1/4 inches long and was 32 inches tall (she lost 1/2 an inch).

And pictures, to start I have a couple group shots from our trip to SC at the beginning of May.

Julia, Jared, and all of their (Reynolds) cousins with Grandmama.

Family shot of us at Alligator Adventure.

One day at home when Julia was rocking Jared in the little bear chair.

Grammy got to meet Jared finally, at Vicki's Housewarming Party over Memorial Day weekend.

Julia cooking dinner last night. She's wearing her Dora apron that Momo (notice the big, pink Texas buttons) made for her.

And last (for this post,) but not least, big sister loving on her little brother.

Beach Babies

Julia and Jared at the beach two weeks ago. Julia loving the sand and surf. Jared loving the baby dome.

On another note, Jared will be a talker just like his sister. He loves lights and windows. Eye contact gets amazing response (he is going to be a big flirt, I think). He is chewing on his hands like crazy (maybe teething soon??). He is now three months too. He hates tummy time, but he is trying to sleep through the night (9:30 pm to 5:30 am) again (half the time he wakes up at 1:30 am).

Julia is pretty good at potty training herself (when she's awake... and more so for number two... and maybe more when I am watchful and at home). She has transitioned to her new room and toddler bed (except for naps when Grandmama is watching). She still loves her little brother and is a big help. She says things like, "What's wrong baby Jared? Mommy will be right back." and "It's OK Buddy, it's OK. Don't cry, we're right here." Too cute, huh? She also says, "Diaper change, diaper change, I need to sit on the toilet." 'Ring around the Rosies' and 'Old MacDonald' are her favorite songs right now.
