Why do this?

Ok, so I have decided to do this blog thing. It is not like me, but I thought it would be great to keep track of life this way. I hope this works the way I have planned. I want to keep a record for myself and I want to keep family (and friends) in the loop on all of the things happening with me.

I'll be putting updates of the house, Julia, and everything else here, so all can keep up. Wish me luck!
