One of my grandmother's passed away, one month ago today. She is very dearly missed. She is in a wonderful place now, where she will no longer have trouble breathing and she can move as freely as she ever wanted. She can smell the flowers and watch over us all. May we all remember her smile and the great times we had with her.
I was able to live with her and call her place my home. Later I was able to give her a home she could continue to live in as independently as possible. She had a good life and was active and happy until the abrupt ending of her life.
Above, she is helping Julia with the lights for our Christmas tree. Below, she is delighted to receive a full stocking from Santa for the the first time in many years. She very much enjoyed the little things in life.
Maw Maw, I will always miss you! Thank you for all of your love over the many years I was blessed to share with you.
